Can I Save My Marriage by Talking Things Over?
All you really want when your marriage is slipping through your fingers is to figure out how to make your marriage work. All you can think about is the pain you’re experiencing and how to make it stop once and for all. As far as you’re concerned the way to make the pain end is to save your marriage and get your spouse back to come back home. Does that sound about right?
The problem is, that’s hard to do when your spouse isn’t listening to what you have to say. In fact, your spouse may not even be taking your calls at this point. He or she may be channeling everything through an attorney.
When you’re convinced that talking things out will help you solve your problems it can be frustrating to go through an attorney who has a vested interest in your divorce.
What are Your Options?
There is something you can do that will completely bypass her attorney and is sure to get her attention. I call it the ‘second chance letter.’ I call it that because it’s granted so many second chances to marriages and relationships around the world by those who follow the instructions to the letter.
The first thing you need to do is grab a sheet of paper. This isn’t something you’re going to send in an email or a text message. If you want it to have the proper impact you need to hand write the letter and send it in the mail. This will make an impression in a day and age when most people don’t receive personal notes and letters in the mail anymore.
What Should Your Letter Say?
Perhaps you should learn what not to say instead. This isn’t an apology letter. You might be thinking that’s what it’s meant to be since it’s called the ‘Second Chance Letter’ but that’s just not the case. This letter is about making your ex see you in a new and different light so that you can begin to really address and solve your problems rather than going through the long and painful process of divorce.
Your letter also shouldn’t state the case for reconciliation. That will only turn your ex off and get your letter filed away in the back of the garbage can rather than read. It can’t be effective if it turns your ex off in the first paragraph.
You want to get back together with your ex. That’s a given. But if you don’t approach your letter in the right way it can do more harm for your case then if you had never written the letter in the first place.
So what is the one thing your second chance letter REALLY needs to say if you’re serious about learning how to get your ex back? It needs to say three little words to your ex above all else. It needs to say ‘you were right.’ Watch the video in the link above to find out why that is so important.
