Honeymoon in San Francisco and Vegas – things to do?
Me and my fiance are from the UK and planning our honeymoon in SF and Vegas in July. Our wedding guests are contributing towards our honeymoon activities via a website service but i have to think of lots of imaginative things to do for people ‘to purchase’ us ie meal at stratosphere, catamaran sunset cruise. Anyone got some interesting ideas of things we can do that we can inlcude in our virtual wedding list? Thanks
There’s a lot to see in both cities that’s free (the Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39 street performers, the Bellagio fountains, Caesar’s Atlantis show, etc.)
However, as this is your honeymoon, you might also want to splurge a little.
In Las Vegas…
1- See at least one major production or headliner show. The Cirque de Soleil shows are particularly good. You get book tickets here:

2- Take a tour of Hoover Dam, which was the largest in the world (until Three Gorges was built in China):

3- Gamble (straight forward, but it can be surprisingly thrilling). Just remember to ‘get rated’ or join a slot club, so you can get comps. It might only be a couple drinks, but why not.
In San Francisco…
1- Go on a dinner cruise, and be rewarded with gorgeous views of the lit-up skyline:

2- Definitely take a daytrip to Muir Woods, Wine Country, or Yosemite National Park:

3- Realize your California “star treatment” dreams… schedule VIP fashion consultation and spa day at Macy’s flagship Union Square store:
